Are you interested in learning to row?
We are running our learn to row courses for juniors (aged 13 and over) and adults. On the course you will learn the basic stroke to move the boat on the water, manoeuvring and handling the boat and keeping safe on the water. You will have the opportunity to learn how to use an indoor rowing machine (or ergometer) and have some experience of different types of boat, for example, a training scull, a rowing four and perhaps an eight. For more about types of boat and rowing terminology take a look at our guide to rowing on the left.
